Beehive Jar (2004)
It's pretty large. Could be used to hold cooking utensils but I already
have my foot jar below for that. I'll probably end up begging someone
else to take it.
(wheel thrown)

Hat Box (2003)
One of these days I'll get around to putting a feather in the side.
Beige glaze with raspberry on ribbon.
(hand built with slabs)

Creamer (2003)
This little guy actually pours really well. The glaze turned out exactly
how I wanted it as well--a full coat of beige, half a coat of raspberry
and then another coat of raspberry near the bottom.
(wheel thrown, hand
altered, pulled handle)
These are pieces from previous years when the glaze choices, along
with my skills, were more
limited. Most of these were painted with coloured slip and then clear
glazed over top.

Poufy Dress (2000)
The design on this shapely prom dress was done with coloured slip and an
eye dropper for the bumpy bits, a needle tool for the scratching and a
tiny hair clip for the flower impressions.
(coil pot, hand built)

Pot Jester (2000)
No...I cant explain it either, but it holds all my pens and
whatnot.
(hand built)

Foot Jar (1999)
That's blue slip painted over white clay. The shoes, which came from a
mold of a fancy thumb tack, were bisque fired only and then glued onto
the finished jar. (wheel thrown)

Urn (1999)
This "reproduction" of a greek urn features more thumb tack
shoes for garlands, little man magnet molds, and the Venus de Milo's
head.
(coils and slabs and the spirit of Michaelangelo)

Flower Pot (1999)
A Royal Doulton head, some rosettes off another Royal Doulton floral
thingy, and the urn from a decorative chess set provided the molds for
this little flower pot.
(wheel thrown)

Greek Key Pot with Lid (1999)
This pot/door stop weighs a tonne. The skrifito technique was used on
the blue and green slips.
(wheel thrown)
