In remembrance of September 11 and the upcoming potential war with Iraq:

I'm a Cancer. According to the www.astrology.com website, I am endeared with certain qualities. As you see at the right, Cancer is symbolized by the crab. I am definitely deeply emotional, and sometimes intuitive. Any literature on zodiacs indicates that Cancers are very family-oriented. I'm not sure this is true for me. Cancers are said to be homebodies, preferring to stay at home, which can be sometimes true. But most definitely, as is typical of Cancerians, I am moody. And it doesn't help that I was born on the Gemini cusp. Not only am I moody, but I've got some of the duality of the Gemini sign in me as well.
I just bought a new home, which I'm very excited about. There's a lot of work to do if you own a home, and sometimes it's pretty scary being a homeowner.  You can see my new home with its floor plan, to get you oriented (but, not "orientated" because that's not a word).
One of the more interesting things I do is play hockey. I joined a women's recreational hockey league two years ago, and I played through two summers as well. It's a lot of fun and the gals are great with a mix of lesbians and breeders (What does that comment make me?). I used to figure skate, so I had to learn how to skate like an ungraceful hockey player without picks, use that stick-thing, and not avoid running into other people.

I also do some belly-dancing.  I have some pictures of myself, my teacher and others on this site.

I also like to take photographs, especially when I'm on vacation. Even though I don't have a very fancy camera, I have some nice pics that I have posted.

And what would life be without your friends?! Every once in a while, I like to entertain, either a few people, or a group. Now that I have a house, it's easier to do this. Check out the pics from:

I'm not an animal lover particularly. I didn't grow up with pets, and I don't have any now. But I think that seahorses are neat -- mostly because the males bear the children.

Did you know that bananas have five sides?
