Bad décor is Clever Gal's Kryptonite. She can't live just anywhere. Her super sensitive style senses need cool digs so she can focus her cleverness on the important things, like saving the world from reinforced toe stockings being worn with open-toed shoes.  

Whether Clever Gal is living in a tiny apartment or a glamorous house, she insists upon a fully functioning household in which to plan her next clever activity. College Gal is obsolete in this modern mythology. Matching furniture, or at least deliberately mismatched furniture, is the ultimate goal and Clever Gal is in hot pursuit.

Clever Gal has the keys to her new digs, but is small town Ontario ready for Clever Gal? Or is it Clever Gal who's finally met her match in the form of a tiny green house? It's cute and quaint, but it's in dire need every bit of Cleverness that Clever Gal can muster. Will Clever Gal tame the grungy green monster and turn it into a sparkling emerald in the sun? Or will she succumb to the home reno nightmare and crumble along with the stairs?

UPDATE! Christmas 2005

Now that Clever Gal is back in the Great White North braving the wilds of traffic jams unlike any the world has seen before, she's getting a little nostalgic. Remember when Christmas meant more than a couple bonus vacation days? Remember when parents paid for their own presents? Remember when Christmas was fun? Clever Gal doesnt, but it sure sounds great. That's why this year she has made a concerted effort to get into the spirit of the holidays (the vacation days are pretty good too).
